Counters went in the day after Thanksgiving. The granite is color is Peacock.
The tiling in the bathrooms was finished yesterday. The grout has such a dramatic effect on the final look.
The bedrooms on the other side of the master have one coat of paint on them. We did the same color in both rooms. The color name is Powell Buff from Benjamin Moore. Inside of all closets, we are doing a neutral color, Manchester Tan
The stair guy showed up and started work yesterday. He has a pile of treads he has started working on and installed one post at the top of the stairs.
Our newel posts will have a squared off look, rather than being round.
Kitchen cabinets were installed in one day last week. Granite counters are planned for Friday, the 23rd.

Over the past two weeks, the crew has been hard at work on siding. Siding was finished up this week, but here are some pics of the siding as it went up.
Late last week, the drywall was hung. Plastering began yesterday.
Kitchen floor has been removed in preparation for hardwood.
The deck has been framed, but does not have any stairs, decking, or posts yet. Excavator should be there this week to dig the forms for the posts. The deck extends 10′ off of the back of the house and runs more than the full width to allow for stairs up on each side of the house.
So excited to use the deck when the weather warms up next year.
Work going on, but nothing that is overly exciting to see. The new front door is installed. The pics below only have one coat of stain on the door, so it will look a bit different as 2 more coats get applied. A good amount of siding has been completed, but I have not taken pictures yet. Next post to come.
Rooms have been insulated
Rough electric complete in kitchen. Recessed lights will go in after the cabinets. Also, you can see the slider going onto the deck in the back of the kitchen.
Kitchen has been stripped and awaiting arrival of cabinets.
